The Lion And His Destiny
There once was a lion.
He lived amongst sheep.
He was ostracized by some sheep.
He was the only one who was able to do as he wished, and that would raise envy amongst other sheep.
He had a best friend, this sheep was trying to learn about the lion. So he asked questions daily. He would ask about everything. And the lion would answer.
Over time, this sheep started to become a lion himself. First big paws, then huge teeth, and a mane. Time went by, and now there were two lions living amongst sheep. Their group flourished and got better due to the natural characteristics of lions. They would have courage, they would get things done and above all, they would show a complete ownership of their life.
Some sheep would follow them, and asked questions.
The lions also became famous for predicting future events on their own lives.
They would walk with such confidence.
One day, both lions were resting on the lake shore. They had earned their rest.
The oldest lion, the first one in the group told the newest one:
“You know, I don’t remember exactly how I got to live with sheep in the first place, I love them, they are fantastic, but I always loved the ways of the lion.”
The newest lion smiled and said:
“You don’t remember at all do you? You were born this way I guess. You were a natural my friend, unlike myself that had to learn the ways of lions through you. We were once a sheep my friend. But not anymore.”
“What do you mean?” Said the oldest lion.
“Come closer to the shore, and let’s see our reflection brother.”
Both lions got closer to the shore and looked at their reflections in the water.
There were two sheep. They were sheep all along. On the exterior they always had been sheep.
The oldest lion seemed surprised. After a few minutes examining the reflection he turn around and as he left the lake said:
“I guess there’s a problem with that water. Anyways, we got stuff to do brother, let’s get things done.”
