A Man’s Tears Were Not Meant To Be Seen

Society has convinced us of its own masculine archetype. The way men must be, must act, must think, must feel. One is not permitted to cry, one is not permitted to fall. Naturally all society and culture wants are frozen men, individuals who nod to the circumstances, individuals who do not judge and accept the way things are. This is the true intent of culture, the true intent of the ones pulling the strings. For men have the capacity to disturb the system, to create change. Many women use their masculine side to do this, and the numbers only grow, this is pure perfection.

But men have fallen into the narrative, dragging behind, not even being part of the movement to change, when their natural place is being at the front of the battle.

But what is a man? What is his calling? What does it mean to be truly masculine?

A man cannot fall. But not because of culture, or society. A man cannot fall because his responsibilities will fall with him, as a consequence, his loved ones will fall as well.

A man cannot surrender. But not because he needs a rest, and this is beneficial for his mental health. A man cannot surrender because he is the one holding others and pushing them into greatness.

A man cannot be seduced by anger. But not because historically men have oppressed women. A man cannot be seduced by anger, for if he does, he’ll destroy the lives of his loved ones. There’s no more powerful man, than the man who controls his anger.

A man cannot relax. But not because it is good for him to take a break. A man cannot relax for if he were to do that, everything he has done until that moment will be in danger, the ways of the world are meant to do that. For he knows the responsibility of his accomplishments is his own, it was never deposited into others. Even more important, this sense of ownership will be passed on to his next generation.

A man cannot be mistaken. But not because he was meant to be perfect. A man cannot be mistaken because as he is, his loved ones will be.

The beautiful thing about being a man is:

All men fall.

All men surrender at any given moment.

All men will be seduced by anger.

All men will relax, and eventually lose something of value, or lose everything.

All men make mistakes.

And all men, cry.

The internal battles of men, were not meant to be seen. We all have them.

They are lessons.

We all have been beaten up by the world. Yet, no one sees this. For we are men.

A real man is the one who loses all these battles, yet, he stands and corrects himself. Complete ownership. A real man is humble enough to listen the lessons of life.

A real man is the one who fuels every action with the tears of failure, and corrects the course.

A real man is the one who despite losing everything, learns that the most valuable things are the ones that came for free.

A man’s tears were not meant to be seen, they were meant to be felt.
